The measure assesses stigma about mental illness as it relates to one's family and community. Participants are presented with a vignette about a fictional individual's mental health difficulties. They are asked to rate their agreement or disagreement with 9 statements (from 1 to 4) pertaining to the stigma related to the individual's mental health and consequences for them and their family due to the stigma.
