Abstract:
While over 1800 psychological studies of religion and spirituality
have been conducted in the past 50 years, the overwhelming
majority of this body of research has been conducted with
Chrstian samples. As a result, it is not known whether existing
theory and findings can generalize to Jewish populations.
This investigation is therefore examining two well-studied
constructs (Religious Coping and Religious Motivations) in
a large Jewish community sample.
